Larry Craig, a fellow senator who rags on Democrats all the live long day, preaching Idaho Family Values, has gone fully schizophrenic. I mean that in a nice way.
What was he thinking? The guy can’t handle pressure, can he?
He gets caught with his pants down, and I know a little something about that, and denies anything took place. That should have been his story and he should have stuck to it. Instead, he pleads insanity and cops a guilty plea. He didn’t do it. He did it.
Who the hell cops a guilty plea when you are positively sure you are not guilty? A schizo Republican, that’s who. He should be booted out of the party just for making dumbass decisions. It makes all politicians look like they live on his level.
Just when I thought this pinball couldn’t bounce anywhere else, now I hear that he wants to renege on his resignation. Uh uh, Larry. That’s not how we do it in DC.
What would happen if Karl Rove suddenly decided he wanted his job back? The Republicanistas in the White House would welcome him back with open arms. Larry had an open fly and thinks he can waffle through the guilt, idiocy, and backpedaling unscathed.
The problem is that everyone in congress wants to hang the guy, including his former colleagues and friends, but nobody is in a position to cast the first stone, lest their names show up on some madam’s list. Except me.
